...It was with real pleasure that I read your book, Trail Riding, Packing and Training. I grew up on a ranch, all my life and to this day we use horses to work our cattle, hunt and just plain ride for enjoyment. We just began packing horses and going into the back country on horses a couple of years ago, actually in some of the areas mentioned in your book. I believe that it would allow a novice to learn as well as an experienced horse person such as myself. It is clear, concise and well written. The instruction are easy to follow and the pictures are exceptionally clear. I found that your book gave me helpful hints and a greater understanding of packing horses.
