Arrive anytime in the pm
Free time. Get settled into your bunk, explore the cook-lecture room, equipment, horses, etc.
Get to know one-another
All evenings are yours to use freely - ride, train, pack horses; learn archery; play games; sit by the campfire and tell lies; etc.
Vehicles should be left in the parking area and not be used during the week.
Finish business before you get to camp - no phones at camp.
Sessions are casual - coffee is always on.
Monday
8:00 - 9:00 am - Breakfast and clean up.
9:00 - 12:00 noon - Units: A, B, C, E
12:00 - 1:00 pm - Lunch and clean up.
1:00 - 5:00 pm - Units: E continued
5:00 - 6:30 pm - Supper and clean up.
6:30 on - Your time. Practice Training
Tuesday
8:00 - 9:00 am - Breakfast and clean up.
9:00 - 12:00 noon - Units: D, F
12:00 - 1:00 pm - Lunch and clean up.
1:00 - 5:00 pm - Units: F
5:00 - 6:30 pm - Supper and clean up.
6:30 on - Your time. Trail Riding
Wednesday
8:00 - 9:00 am - Breakfast and clean up.
9:00 - 12:00 noon - Units: H, I, K, L.
12:00 - 1:00 pm - Lunch and clean up.
1:00 - 5:00 pm - Units: I
5:00 - 6:30 pm - Supper and clean up.
6:30 on - Your time. Riding / Packing Practice
Thursday
Pack up and head out! Overnight packtrip. Choice of partners,
trails, etc. Ride near or far. Stay low or high. You are on your own.
Holiday time!
Saturday - Sunday
Am - Clean up departure.
Certificates,
manuals, exams, and job placement.

A certificates verifying the completion of the program is awarded to those who complete the program in good standing. A written exam is optional. For those interested in working in the guiding-tourism field, your written exams is designed to be a reference as well. We also provide a list of outfitters and ranches across western Canada who may hire staff. We get calls yearly and will help interested and capable participants find employment.
All Blue Creek guests use and can keep our manual, full of the details that we cover during the week.
