The Walchuk family is your hosts. Stan,
Marlene, Dylan, Aaron have traveled hundreds of wilderness miles together
as a family. Their 1998 trip took them from Rancheria on the Alaska
Highway (Yukon) to Cassiar, B.C. - about 200 remote wilderness miles.
Dylan and Aaron were 5 and 6 years old.
Stan Walchuk Jr, your chief partner in learning, has ridden literally thousands of wilderness miles in many remote areas of the Yukon, N.W.T. B.C., and Alberta. Stan is a Biologist, Teacher, Award FilmMaker and Writer. He designed outdoor and horse programs for schools, government centers, and youth groups.
